Weekly Workout/Training in Review 4/20-4/26

It was another gorgeous week in DC!  I am feeling a bit under the weather, so this post is on the shorter side today – which is appropriate since my workouts were a bit light last week.

Sunday 4/20 – Rest day

Monday 4/21 – 60 minutes of yoga + 45 minute cycling class at RIDE DC

Tuesday 4/22 – 3 miles elliptical + 60 minute personal training session

Wednesday 4/23 Rest day

Thursday 4/24 – 1 mile elliptical + 60 minute personal training session

Friday 4/25 – Rest day / Nike Women’s Half Marathon volunteering

Saturday 4/26  Rest day

Total: 4 miles

I am happy that I went to yoga and had two personal training sessions last week.  I was hoping to run 6 miles this past weekend, but in the end sleep won out.  I’ll be running the Brooklyn Half in 19 days, I’ll make sure to bump up my mileage over the next two weeks. 

This past Friday I volunteered at the Nike Expotique (their term for Expo). I helped with t-shirt distribution and it was fun to meet other volunteers.  Below is the “We Run” sign outside t-shirt pickup.

This year the shirts were handed out before the race vs. post race.
