Well...I think you all know where I was this past weekend! My quad was still iffy after a week off from running, so I decided to keep it easy.  Last week involved a lot of stretching and foam rolling. Woah Nelly....4 more days until Chicago! Speaking of Nelly...Chicago will be "Hot in Herre". Last week the forecast called for a high of 63F, partly cloud with a 10% chance of rain.  Today the forecast for Sunday is a high of 70F, mostly sunny and 0% chance of rain. Chicago Marathon Training Week 17 – 9/21-9/27

Hello Monday! As most of you are aware, DC welcomed Pope Francis last week.  It was so funny to see downtown DC so empty and quiet.  Because I live close to work, I still went into the office Tuesday-Thursday (most people were able to telework).  I heard sirens throughout the day (which is not an unusual occurrence with the White House close by) and saw excited parade goers walking towards the mall.  Vendors were even selling pope stuffed dolls...not sure…

Chicago Marathon Countdown – Logistics

2015 Quantico Sprint Triathlon Recap

Yay....the 2015 Quantico Sprint Triathlon Recap is up!
