Monthly Goals – July 2015

Wowsa! Can't believe the year is halfway over.  There are several 2015 goals I still hope to accomplish (mid-year review coming soon as well).  Today I am going to recap my June goals and share my July goals.  1. Hit 10,000 steps/day I ended the month with 433,312 steps (about 7,000 more than May) and hit 10,000 steps/day for 28…

Yayyy for Friday! This weekend I will be running the Baltimore Women's Classic 5K with the madre...I think this will be her first 5K haha. Will I see you there this weekend?  Today I am linking up with Mar, Courtney, and Cynthia and the theme is "Five Things I was Doing Ten Years Ago".  I was pretty stoked about this theme - I immediately dug into my email archive, old photos, and Kodak Gallery album to piece together what I was doing…

Throwback Thursday – Old Race Photos

Every few days or so I get an email from our lovely friends at MarathonFoto (and I get quite a few reminders since I run ALL the races haha).  I've been lazy about ordering my New York City Marathon photos (Part 1, Part 2, Part 3) and decided it was time to look through the proofs again (confession: I've never ordered from them before).  I noticed there was a reference to their MarathonFoto® Rewards Club while I was on their website (FAQ here).…

Tasty Thursday: Banana Cream Pie Parfait

I have a bit huge sweet tooth. One of my favorite desserts is a slice of banana cream pie (if you are ever in DC and have a chance to try Ted's Bulletin, their Mile High Banana Cream Pie is amazzzzing). As you all know, one of my goals this month is to log all my food intake - I want to lose some weight and avoid gaining marathon weight (no more I can eat eat everything I want because…

RBX Active Review – Digital Camo Leggings

Image: RBX Active RBX Active was founded three years ago by President and CEO, Eli Yedid.  The company features fashion-active apparel and  accessories at prices "that are realistic for today's active consumers".  RBX Active designed their clothing so it could transition from the gym to the street (or in my case....leggings for days).  I was excited to try their clothing when I was given the opportunity to review a pair of their Digital Camo Leggings. The Digital Camo Legging is…

Friday Five – Favorite Things at the Moment IV

Hello Friday and hello heat!  Tomorrow I will be try to wake up early (5:30-6:00AM) for my long run (5-8 miles).  I think I will spend the rest of the weekend indoors or at the pool (got to get my swim on).    Today I am linking up with Mar, Courtney, and Cynthia and sharing Five Favorite Things at the Moment IV (looking forward to reading all of your summer activity posts - maybe I will get some new ideas).  In no particular order:  1. Nathan VaporMax…
