While I was on my little hiatus, I kept drafts of my training recaps, but never hit publish since they were unfinished (note form, not all pics uploaded). Making my Gate River Run 15K Training Week 3-9 posts live (separate). Week 5 was not the best week (sorry for lack of pictures).

Monday 1/25 – Rest Day
I was suppose to run 5 miles + 10 x 100 strides, but it was still slick out and the YMCA was closed. Plan was to run this on Tuesday.
Tuesday 1/26 – Rest Day
Got slammed at work.
Thursday 1/28 – Rest Day
Suppose to be a 4 mile recovery day, but work again.
Friday 1/29 – Rest Day
5 miles with 6 pick ups of 2 minutes each…nope work + late dinner plans scheduled. I really need to get some of my runs in the morning.
Saturday 1/30 – Rest Day
I was so excited to run, even if it was 8 miles on the treadmill. I stepped outside…and guess what happened?! I slipped on my way to the Y. My rear was hurting so I went back home.
Sunday 1/31 – Rest day
A tender bum = rest. This was the first time this training cycle I had to miss all my workouts. I was on a pretty good streak of getting my runs in. The highlight of the week was brunch with my parents and Cliff at La Piquette – the best croissants 🙂
