Friday is already here! I love short weeks. Today I am linking up with Mar, Courtney, and Cynthia and this week’s theme is “Five Things in my Gym Bag.”
1. Shoe Bag
I always have this shoe bag – it holds my sneakers while I am at work and work shoes while I am at the gym. A bit of a germ-a-phobe, I do not want my shoes soiling my clothes.
2. Shoes
Yes, plural! I carry both my running and cycling shoes. Sometimes I attend cycling classes on a whim, so it is nice to have them with me (I do not like cycling without them).
3. Toiletries
Deodorant and towelettes are a must! I certainly do not want to be that “smelly” person at the gym. The towelettes are great to take off make up pre-workout and to freshen up post-workout.
4. Extra Shirt/Jacket
Nice to have when I am going from the gym to dinner and do not have time to shower. Even nicer to have when its cold outside – it is not fun walking around in sweaty gear.
5. Yoga Mat
This one is interchangeable. Depending on my schedule my yoga mat is with me! I finally learned how to secure it to my gym bag.
Note: Those local to DC Yoga in the Park (free) is back! lululemon Logan Circle resumed their Wednesday night class in Dupont Circle and Bikram Yoga Dupont will resume their Sunday Meredian Hill Park class in June.
