Happy Friday! Although this week did not drag, it was a long one for me. Today I am linking up with Mar, Courtney, and Cynthia and the theme is “Five Things About Me.”
Because I often write about my runcations I thought it would be nice to share some of my travels that did not involve running (shocker right?)
1. Studied Abroad in Auckland, New Zealand
I had an opportunity to study abroad in Auckland, New Zealand. I can’t believe it was 10 years ago! Sweeping landscapes, lovely kiwis, and loads of sheep!
2. Lived in Trinidad and Tobago
My MBA internship brought me to the lovely Trinidad and Tobago for two months. The people were warm, the food was delicious, and the culture amazing.
3. Finding “Paradise Falls” in Igauzu/Igaucu
One of my most favorite trips of all time! In 2012 I was able to visit the falls in Argentina and Brazil. They also have night hikes during the full moon!
4. Wonder in Rio de Janiero, Brazil
I visited one of my good friends from business school in Rio. I got to see the amazing Christ the Redeemer statue – one of the New 7 Wonders of the World.
5. Denmark’s the Spot!
My youngest sister studied abroad in Copenhagen a couple years ago, of course we visited her. I also met Jamie Lee Curtis at my parent’s hotel – a Freaky Friday it was!
Did you ever study or live abroad?
What is your favorite vacation memory?
