TGIF – this week felt so long! Today I am linking up with Mar, Courtney, and Cynthia and this week’s theme is “Five Things About Me.” This theme is always fun to participate in because you learn so much about each other. Today I am going to put a spin on it and make it a high school edition.
1. Attended the same High School as my mom (sort of)
My high school was renovated my freshman (9th grade) and sophomore (10th grade) years of high school. During the construction our school temporarily relocated to a holding school (a former high school), which happened to be the high school my mom attended.
2. Student Government
I was class president sophomore (10th grade) though senior year (12th grade) of high school. Highlights include: homecoming, spirit week, and prom (pic below).
3. Swimming Swimming in the Swimming Pool
I was on the swim team all four years of high school. I usually swam the 100 butterfly and/or 200 individual medley. My favorite was the latter.
4. Lacrosse
Did you know lacrosse is Maryland’s official team sport (randomly the official sport is jousting)? I played all four years of high school. The picture below is from senior year – snazzy warmups eh?
5. BSB vs. N’SYNC
The late 90s and early 00s brought boy band fever. While I liked both bands…. I preferred the Backstreet Boys.
