I love short weeks! Today I am linking up with Mar, Courtney, and Cynthia and the theme is Race Rituals. I decided to write about my pre-race night rituals.
1. Caprese Salad Please

Whenever I have a pre-race dinner with my friend Emily (who am I kidding… any Italian dinner), we order a caprese salad – sliced fresh mozzarella, tomatoes and basil…yummmm. If you ever are in Annapolis, Carpaccio had an amazing caprese.
2. Fashion Show
Picking out an outfit of course! These days I’ve been wearing Oiselle Flyte or Winona tanks (the material is so soft and I like that it hides my sweat) plus Old Navy capris. I match my Brooks Adrenalines according to my top (warm tones = pink GTS and cool tones = blue GTS).
3. Gizmos, Gadgets, Galore
Charge my phone and Garmin. Pack my visor, bib belt and the runner’s fanny pack. Grab my shot blocks, Nuun, water bottle, and post race bar.
4. Geography Lesson
Study those course maps.
5. Early to Bed
Catching some zzzzs and dreaming of PRs 🙂
