This time last year I shared my Five Favorite Travel Photos of 2013 for my first Friday Five post. Today I am linking up with Mar, Courtney, and Cynthia, and going to share my Five Favorite Travel Photos of 2014.
1. Jardin Botanique, Montréal, Ontario (Part 1, Part 2, Part 3)
In August I visited Montréal and Québec City with my mom. I saw these incredible blue flowers at the Montréal Botanical Gardens.
2. Tbilisi to Kazbegi, Republic of Georgia (Part 5, Part 6)
This past summer I visited my two friends in the Republic of Georgia. We saw incredible views like the below as we were driving from Tbilisi to Kazbegi. Doesn’t it look like a scene out of the Lord of the Rings?
3. Mount Kazbek, Stepantsminda, Republic of Georgia (Part 5, Part 6)
Once in Kazbegi, we hiked Mount Kazbek. We were treated with stunning views once we reached the peak.
4. Blue Mosque, Istanbul, Turkey (Part 1, Part 2, Part 3)
Prior to my visit to the Republic of Georgia, I met my friend Ali in Istanbul, Turkey. Visiting the Blue Mosque was one of the highlights of the trip. Breathtaking.
5. Corning, New York (Part 1, Part 2)
In October I went on a runcation/racecation with my mom. We participated in the Wineglass Half Marathon in Corning, New York. The trees were turning pretty shades of red, orange, and yellow.
What have been your favorite travel/vacation destinations this year?
Do you have any vacations/runcations planned for 2015?
