April 7, 2014 We finally had some beautiful weather in Washington, DC!  This past weekend I ran the Credit Union Cherry Blossom 10 Miler (as did ~20,000 other people).  I will be posting my race recap tomorrow. April 3, 2014 I LOVE smoothies! I typically have it for breakfast or as a post workout drink. They are easy to make and delicious.  Depending on your ingredients, they can be healthy as well. 2014 LOVE Run Philadelphia Half Marathon Recap

This past weekend was the inaugural LOVE Run Philadelphia Half Marathon, and also my 13th half (a rainy one too boot)! Packet Pickup/Expo Packet pickup was held at the Philadelphia Convention Center on Friday and Saturday.  I arrived Saturday morning and headed to the expo before checking into the hotel. March 31, 2014 This past weekend I ran the inaugural Philadelphia LOVE Run Half Marathon (race recap up tomorrow).  I kept my workouts fairly light the week leading up to the half (partially planned + partially feeling a bit lazy) - with runs no longer than 3 miles. TSC New York City Marathon Drawing

March 26, 2014 Today is the TSC New York City Marathon drawing! As you may recall I deferred my 2013 guaranteed entry to this year (I was rejected 3x from the lottery, 2014 is the last year they will offer this type of guaranteed entry). If you are newer to running, you may find some of the larger races (ten milers, half marathons, or marathons) have implemented lotteries, time qualifications etc. to facilitate the registration process.
