PR Running Perfect 10 Race Recap

I’ve been wanting to run a shorter local race for quite some time now.  Last Sunday, September 29th, I ran the Potomac River Running’s Perfect 10 Miler / 10K in Reston, VA.  Runners could select the 10 Miler or 10K-I chose the latter. Logo: PR Running Potomac River Running is a running store with locations in Maryland, DC, and Virginia.  In addition to retail, they also offer run clubs, coaching, and their PR Race Series. NYC Marathon Entry Deferred

This year I had a guaranteed entry to the 2013 ING New York City Marathon.  I was denied entry (they have a lottery system) in 2010, 2011, and 2012 thus making me eligible for an automatic entry in 2013 (I believe 2014 will the last year guaranteed entry will take place).  I was excited to train and finally run the Big Apple! In April I had the opportunity to join an amazing new project team that would require travel for 4…

October 3, 2013 Missed Part 1 and Part 2? We headed to the town of Kitsilano for some dinner + yoga.  Kitsilano, once a sleepy…

SeaWheeze Half Marathon Race Recap-Part 1

I LOVE to travel, so when I was finalizing my race schedule I knew I wanted to add a destination race, the question where to? This past August, I ran the second lululemon SeaWheeze Half Marathon in Vancouver, B.C.  It was a (long) weekend filled with sightseeing, yoga, friends, food, and running of course!  It also helped that lulu was the title sponsor (ummm..cool swag anyone?) My friend and I signed up in early February and the race of 10,000…
