A little Run Jenny Run treat today….two posts in one day! This morning the Chicago Marathon began their lottery notifications (notifications were rolling throughout the day….I wish I knew the order in which they delivered their emails).
I refreshed my Athlete Center page a billion times and saw the words Pending laughing in my face all day (some runners indicated their Lottery Status changed before they received their email notification).
Finally….around 4:00PM EST…I hit refresh again… and the Lottery Status changed to Approved!
I completed my registration (bye-bye $$$) and now I am officially entered in the 2015 Chicago Marathon!
So what does this mean for Marine Corps? I plan on running both! I will run Chicago as my “A” marathon with hopes of a PR and run Marine Corps for fun – how could I say no to its 40th birthday?
